Rafizi also lied in a tweet that exposing this fact on 1,500 acres is breaking the law on confidentiality. The writer did not sight any confidentiality clause. Besides, any lease agreement lodged with the land office becomes a public document. So again Rafizi lied here (see tweet).

Rafizi even lied that whatever amounts of beef produced by NFCorp was merely to serve its restaurants only. He was quoted to have told Malaysian Insider, “Instead, the beef (estimated at only 20 cattle a day) is only being supplied to luxurious restaurant chains owned by Shahrizat’s family called Meatworks, Senor Santos and Brawns in Singapore.”

Rafizi’s counterpart DAP MP for Petaling Jaya Utara Tony Pua had on 1 March 2012 told MalaysiaKini, “A check with Singapore’s Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) found that Malaysia cannot export raw beef to the island republic.”

Pua added that even so, checks on the AVA website, updated as at February 17 this year, found that only five Malaysian companies were approved to export beef products to Singapore, and they did not include NFC.

f that being the case, one needs to ask why would Rafizi lie to Malaysians that NFCorp’s beef was exported to restaurants in Singapore?

Now Malaysians can see the multitude of political lies by the opposition. It underscores Rafizi was never for the truth on the NFC project. It was all about fabricating and chalking up points for Anwar Ibrahim’s road to Putrajaya premised on lies, distortions and misrepresentations.

Rafizi Ramli and Anwar Ibrahim are both Muslims. As with any Muslim who believes in the goodness of the Holy Quran, one must refrain from betraying His teachings,

“And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood,

nor hide the truth while you know it.”
